Now that we are in the winter months, many people don’t think about sunglasses. They consider them summertime eyewear. However, sunglasses may be even more important in the winter. When snow is on the ground, sunlight and therefore UV radiation reflects off of it into our eyes. This can be worse than in the summer, when sunlight only comes from above. What can be particularly helpful, is a polarized sunglass lens, as these will help cut the blinding glare off the snow’s surface.
